Bar Site shall be the same!

Ang saya saya ng Bar Ops eh, napaka-KJ kasi nila!

The City Mayor of Manila DID NOT issue any Executive Order or any Memorandum Circular prohibiting the establishment of bar sites.

The Honorable Mayor merely relied on the Letter dated 29 July 2008 and duly received by the office of Atty. Garayblas on 31 July 2008, signed by Atty. Layusa and noted by Justice Tinga, REQUESTING the Mayor not to issue any permit, or if permits have been issued to revoke the same, for the construction or setting up of any booths along the SOUTHBOUND area of Taft Avenue, below the LRT Vito Cruz Station near McDonald's (the area where SEND-OFFS are usually made) and the vicinity in front of De La Salle University.

The Supreme Court also asked that the City Mayor to advise store owners and business establishments IN FRONT of DLSU (this is where the problem could lie because it generalizes the entire stretch of Taft Avenue) from allowing school organizations and fraternities to use their parking lots due to the experience in the past of partying, drinking sprees and brawls.

And lastly, the Supreme Court requested the Police to prevent AΦΩ Fraternity in conducting the "Oblation Run" which causes the females and the she-males to go gaga.

As for TKΦ, we have no problem insofar as the letter is concerned. Firstly, our bar site is located in the NORTHBOUND portion of Taft Avenue. It is not even Taft, but Estrada Street. Secondly, even though it is in front of DLSU, the bar site is not located on the parking lot of any store or business establishment because we are located on the street. And lastly, we are not the AΦΩ nor are we affected by the Oblation Run. We are TKΦ! We are decent persons and we need not show our "arms" to prove our virility, so we cannot be censored for causing females going gaga over us...hehehe...joke!

Well, let's see. We shall try to secure a permit from the City Hall. Let's just wait for the outcome.
